About Ecobella

We are Burlington’s first eco hair studio. At Ecobella we keep the environment
in mind in every aspect of our business.

More than 65% of the electricity we use comes from our solar panels and the remaining 35% is Bull Frog sourced. Our extensive recycling program includes product bottles, paper and other salon consumables. We use energy efficient lighting, on-demand tankless water heating systems and MioBex filtration systems on all sinks.

Our towels are made from organic cotton and our laundry methods save water, energy and include biodegradable detergents. Our organic ammonia-free hair colour is 98% organic and we carry our own exclusive line of hair care and make up products—Sensation Organics hair care and JustU Minerals makeup. No magazines here—just iPads for you to use. Free Wifi of course!

Our footprint is small. Our talent and environmental practices are anything but.

“I visited today, for the first time, and have decided that I will no longer go anywhere else. Tim was very professional, and courteous. The end result was easily one of the best haircuts I have ever had. It also makes me feel good to support a business that really cares about the environment!”

“I have been going to Ecobella for the past 3 years. I have had nothing but great service from the staff here. They are very professional and are very warm to their clientele. I see Jenny who really takes time to listen as you describe your preferred hairstyle and asks questions to in order to give you "your perfect cut.”

“Recently went in to Ecobella for a hair cut. Enjoyed my experience very much. I usually go to one of the "chain type" shops, but I think I will be switching that up from now on. Everyone was friendly and I suspect its the type of place where you will be remembered the next time you visit. My cut was great!”
